Video Captures Model's Lingerie Photoshoot In London's Deserted Piccadilly Circus

A model in central London was filmed taking advantage of the unusually quiet streets to pose for a lingerie photoshoot.

The unnamed woman was seen modelling red lacy underwear in a pair of black stilettos as a photographer snapped her in Piccadilly Circus on Sunday night (22 March).

Of course, the area is usually something of a tourist hotspot, meaning that in any other circumstance such a public display would be pretty impossible.

But due to government orders for people to ‘stay home’ wherever possible to help stop the spread of coronavirus – something that has since been followed up with a stricter lockdown – the famous spot has become something of a ghost town, meaning the photographer and model were able to get their shots without hordes of people getting in the way.

The person who filmed the footage said they had been out for a late-night drive to pass the time (during which they did not leave the model, we should add) when they spotted the model.

The passenger can be heard in the video saying: “What’s she doing? I’ve seen it all now.

If there’s any time to get the shot, this is the time. This is gold, oh my god, it’s actually hilarious.”

They continue: ”If you want to have a photoshoot at a deserted Piccadilly, which is really weird in itself, not quite as weird as this. How bizarre.”

While the UK has been told to self-isolate and socially distance for some time now, last night Prime Minister Boris Johnson placed the nation under strict lockdown, also increasing police powers to ensure measures were being met by the public.

People are now only allowed out to shop, to exercise once a day, for any medical need, to help vulnerable, or to travel to and from work.

Meetings of more than two people are also banned, and you should not have visitors to your home or meet family and friends.

Johnson said these measures would be revisited in three weeks and the outbreak was being kept under ‘constant review’.

He said: “That’s all – these are the only reasons you should leave your home. You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say ‘no’.

“You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home.

“You should not be going shopping except for essentials like food and medicine – and you should do this as little as you can. And use food delivery services where you can.”
