'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare' And 'Warzone' Updates Have Been Delayed
The latest updates for and have been delayed. Infinity Ward confirmed that the new content – which was supposed to go live just a few hours ago – has now been pushed back by an unspecified number of days.
“Tonight’s scheduled title update is being delayed and is set to release in the coming days,” Infinity Ward wrote in a tweet. “This update includes our new Operator, Talon, new free modes, and our next free multiplayer map, Khandor Hideout. Please stay tuned for more details and updates on release timing!”

The update was already scheduled to go live at the unusual time of 6am this morning in the UK – updates have almost always arrived on Tuesday evenings up till this point. It’s unclear why the update has now been pushed back.
The good news is that it seems we don’t have that much longer to wait until the patch is ready. I can’t imagine Infinity Ward would specify a rough window of a few days if it wasn’t confident it could get it out in that time. These are extraordinary times we’re living in after all, and we’re kind of lucky that we’re getting new content at all in the middle of all this, right?
So, what coming when the update drops? will be getting a new multiplayer map called Khandor Hideout. First teased by Activision ahead of the first Season Two content drop, Khandor Hideout supports 6v6 matches with a mix of tight indoor spaces and exposed streets.
We’re also getting a brand-new operator in the form of Talon, who comes with a loyal dog friend called Sasquatch. Talon will be available in a bundle that includes two Legendary weapon blueprints and two tier skips.

As for ? The free-to-play battle royale will be getting four shiny new weapons for us to play with. The 725, MK2 Carbine, .50 GS, and EBR-14 will all be dropping into the game whenever the update goes live.
Those who have been with since launch will of course remember the 725 shotgun – a weapon that was previously massively overpowered, thanks to its incredible strength and unfair range. The gun has since been nerfed by Infinity Ward (after several attempts) and shouldn’t cause much trouble in . Hopefully.
