Joe Wicks Is Donating Everything Earned From His PE Videos To The NHS
Joe Wicks has revealed he’s donating everything he earns from his videos providing PE lessons for kids cooped up at home to the NHS.
The 33-year-old fitness freak – known as The Body Coach – vowed that ‘every single penny of the money’ will go to those fighting the good fight to keep the country out of crisis during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
To be fair, Wicks has been pulling his weight too – both physically and figuratively – by providing online sessions for kids trapped inside their houses by the restrictions as a result of the outbreak.
In fact, he’s gained more than one million new YouTube subscribers since he started to provide PE lessons online, during which he does guided workouts that can be done with very little else other than a piece of floor space.

After the success of the videos, he revealed in an Instagram post yesterday that he’s been receiving advertising revenue that is ‘unlike anything’ he’s seen before.
That’s why he’s decided he’s going to make sure the whole lot goes to those who are working tirelessly to ensure the damage caused by the Covid-19 outbreak is not as bad as it could be.
He posted a photograph of himself filming one of his workouts on Instagram, and wrote: “Words can’t express how happy and proud I have felt every day this week as the nation’s PE teacher. I’ve been overwhelmed with the response and the support it’s had from everyone.
“As a result of so many people viewing the #PEWithJoe workouts on YouTube the advertising revenue generated has been unlike anything I’ve seen or experienced on my channel before.”

He continued: “So I’ve decided that as long as I’m the nations PE teacher, every single penny of the money generated on these videos is going to the place where we need it the most right now. All of it is going straight to the NHS, to support the real heroes right now.
“Thank you for watching, joining in and sharing… I’m loving being your PE Teacher and now you can watch again, knowing you’re not only staying fit, you’re also helping raise money for the NHS. See you Monday at 9am.”
That’s an attitude that is sure to win him more fans. Hopefully more people will start joining in the workouts and earning even more money for those working in our healthcare system.
Fair play, Joe.
