What he is: a legendary creature, specifically a human rogue. I’ve known a few rogues in my time and let me tell you, they were from legendary. But then, they weren’t part of a worldwide mega-hit fantasy TCG franchise, so, that’s to be expected.

Chevill here has an ability called Deathtouch. In short, this is bad news for all those monsters that he’s the bane of. Any damage he deals to an opponent creature, he’ll outright kill it. Like that fella from used to say: ooh, . No doubt most players already know all about this, but just in case.

The bounty part? That means that when the creature with the bounty token on it dies, the player that placed the counter receives the reward that the card details. If you’re into your , I know this all makes sense. And if not, I’m pretty sure there’s no time like the present to get into the game.

The full Deathtouch text on the card is as follows:

“At the beginning of your upkeep, if your opponents control no permanents with bounty counters on them, put a bounty counter on target creature or planeswalker an opponent controls.

“Whenever a permanent an opponent controls with a bounty counter on it dies, you gain 3 life and draw a card.”

You can find out loads more about at the game’s official website.
