And it appears that isn’t immune to this either as someone has apparently recreated Pallet Town from the original .

As spotted by NintendoEnthusiast, Twitter user Migue tweeted their recreation of Pallet Town, showing their character walking around it in . They start from what would have been Professor Oak’s Lab and end the video by walking into Red’s house. You can check it out below, or go here for a direct link to the tweet.

Pallet Town is probably one of the most recognisable locations in the Pokémon universe. It’s often the starting point for many of the games in the series and dates back to the first Pokémon games. It’s the smallest town too and is the birthplace of Ash Ketchum, the main protagonist of the anime series. It’s also the home of Professor Oak where he lives and studies Pokémon in his Lab.

‘s Pallet Town isn’t the only game location to be recreated in . Reddit user VaynMaanen has been busy building Hyrule from and the detail is pretty incredible. You can take a look at more images showing it off in the reply to the original Reddit post.

If you’re more interested in recreating real-life locations – you know, because it’s pretty difficult to visit them in person at the moment – then this Minecraft project is attempting to recreate the entire earth in as much detail as possible. And while most landmarks are already there, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done, especially when it comes to man-made structures and buildings.
