'Resident Evil 3' Mods Are Way More Terrifying Than The Game
Whenever a new game is released on PC you can almost always guarantee that it will soon be followed by a plethora of mods and the remake is no different. The latest – and somewhat bizarre – mod to grace the streets of the zombie-infested Raccoon City gives Jill Valentine a full-head mask of none other than Isabelle from .
The mod was created by Crazy Potato (thanks, Eurogamer) and in this truly horrifying crossover of the two popular franchises, you’ll be able to run around Raccoon City, essentially mowing down zombies as the friendly, yellow-furred Isabelle. Presumably the facial expressions aren’t animated either so you’ll be greeting every zombie you encounter with that fixed, friendly smile.

And this isn’t the only downright weird thing that has been exposed to in recent times. Just last Thursday, we reported on the Beachboy Nemesis Outfit PC Mod. In case you missed it, this utterly horrifying mod replaces the already unnerving antagonist’s normal attire with a pair of skimpy briefs, complete with an entirely-too-eye-catching Umbrella logo. This particular mod was made for the demo though, so it’s unclear whether you’ll be able to run around Raccoon City as Isabelle with the scantily clad Nemesis in hot pursuit.
There’s always an element of risk involved with using mods as it messes with the game files but if you’re willing to take that risk, there are a huge number of mods available. Some are fairly normal, like recreating Jill’s outfit from the original game or replacing it with her B.S.A.A. outfit from . Others though might take out Jill entirely, like the mod that inserts 2B or 2P from .

And then there’s the Jill Sandwich mod – which is quite obviously a nod to that infamous Barry Burton quote from the original – which quite literally places Jill between a couple of baps – yes really.
remake released last week after months of anticipation from fans. If you’re currently struggling your way through Raccoon City, we have a guide that might help you out. Alternatively, if you just want a fun refresher of the series as a whole, we’ve got you covered there too.
