First Episode Of Killing Eve Season Three Is Now Available To Stream In Australia

The coronavirus pandemic has caused loads of your favourite TV shows and movies to be put on hold.

However, the geniuses behind thought now was a better time than ever to debut the third season of the incredible spy drama.

So, instead of waiting several more weeks, the series has premiered in America and now the first episode has landed in Australia.

It’s been many months since the show’s titular hero was last seen lying on the floor in Rome in the second season.

But now Sandra Oh will return as her M15 agent Eve Polastri to let us know what happened after that tense stand-off with Villanelle (Jodie Comer), as the first episode of season three has just been added to ABC’s iView for your viewing pleasure.

This is the first of eight episodes that will be seen for season three and sadly they will premiere every week instead of being dumped all at once.

The new series was originally supposed to hit screens in the US on 26 April before being rolled out across the Pacific this autumn.

However, those dates were all brought forward as creators couldn’t wait for fans to see it – literally.

Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, told Deadline: “We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now.

“This season of digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing. We literally couldn’t wait for fans to see it.”

Given that many of us are all cooped up at home, this really could not have been a better decision.

For season three, Suzanne Heathcote – who previously worked on – has taken over from Emerald Fennell as lead writer and executive producer.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who wrote the first season and is an executive producer, said: “I’m very excited that the baton is being passed onto another incredible writer for season three.

“We can sleep soundly knowing these characters are safe in Suzanne Heathcote’s hilariously murderous hands.”
