Social Distancing Seems To Be Ignored On Westminster Bridge Once More

BY THEREDNOW STAFF

The public gathered on the bridge in the UK’s resources at 8pm last night (23 April) for the Thursday evening Clap For Carers initiative, where individuals are being urged to applaud for frontline employees.

A 3rd jabbered: “@metpoliceuk transforming 8pm Westminster Bridge into a party, lets all obtain down there following week as well as see just how complete this ‘event’ they have actually developed requirements to get prior to they wake up!! @MattHancock seriously sort this, rules are policies ALL week!!!”

Just last week, footage revealed a massive crowd on the very same bridge which included police policemans and also moms and dads with children, revealing that while the bulk of people have actually been sticking to the government’s guidelines, some are still neglecting the guidelines.

Another physician, who functions at a hospital in London, commented: “Seeing masses yesterday on Westminster bridge clapping with each other, without distancing consisting of cops.

Another added: “Westminster Bridge, again. The rest of us are sat at home, following the rules. These people gather together, doing the exact thing the people they are showing their appreciation for don’t want them to do.”

A third ranted: “@metpoliceuk turning 8pm Westminster Bridge into a party, lets all get down there next week and see how full this ‘event’ they have created needs to get before they wake up!! @MattHancock seriously sort this, rules are rules ALL week!!!”

Just last week, footage showed a huge crowd on the same bridge which included police officers and parents with children, showing that while the majority of people have been adhering to the government’s guidelines, some are still ignoring the rules.

Last week, the doctor that posted the video to Twitter wrote: “I’m a doctor working at the hospital that’s right there. And yes, I was also somewhat perplexed by the lack of social distancing.”

Dr Sophie Cook, whose bio says she is a ‘mental healthy key worker’, commented: “One person sat on the beach, told to stay at home. Massive crowd at what looks like a police parade on Westminster Bridge, clap louder, oh and here’s a fly past.” The tweet was accompanied by a ‘face palm’ emoji.

Another doctor, who works at a hospital in London, commented: “Seeing masses yesterday on Westminster bridge clapping together, without distancing including police. I think it is an important gesture but a little ironic if in a large group.”
