Last Week's Incredible 'Warzone' Kill Record Has Already Been Broken
BY THEREDNOW STAFF
Well blow me down. Less than one week ago, I reported on a squad of four players who dropped into a game of Battle Royale Quads and killed 113 of the 150 players. This, as you can imagine, was a new kill record for the four-player mode, smashing the previous record of 75.
I remember saying at the time that I didn’t think we’d see this impressive new record beaten. Well, I was wrong. As I so often am. As reported by CharlieIntel, popular streamers TeePee, Symfuhny, HusKerrs, and DougisRaw rode into Verdansk with fire in their bellies and straight-up obliterated everyone. I thought 113 kills was amazing? These guys got kills in a single game.
Symfuhny took to Twitter straight after winning the game to show off, as well as he should. While he insisted he was carried with a mere 24 kills (I’ve never come close to that), Doug’s 32, Teepee’s 31, and HusKerr’s 34 brought the number up to record-breaking heights. Teepee also shared a video of the 121st kill and the team’s reaction to winning way more than just the game.
Was this… was this witchcraft? I’m gonna level with you, I’m more scared than I am impressed at this point. People shouldn’t be able to this. Even from a logistical standpoint, the Verdansk map is . How did these four players move across the map and get 121 kills before any of the other 146 players were able to really get stuck in? It baffles me, it really does.
I know I said this last week, but surely… , nobody is stepping up to beat 121 kills in a game. It can’t be done. And if it can? Well I guess I’ll be right back here next week talking about how I was wrong. Again.
In other news, Infinity Ward’s tough new anti-cheating measures have proven so effective that a lot of hackers are questioning whether or not it’s even worth cheating in the battle royale anymore. Clearly hackers don’t mean a thing, though. Not when there are people like TeePee, Symfuhny, HusKerrs, and DougisRaw ready to roll through and mess you up.
