'Call Of Duty: Warzone' Brings Back Old Mode Following Fan Feedback
BY THEREDNOW STAFF
Infinity Ward just released a playlist update for , and it brings back a mode that a lot of fans were sorry to see go. That’s right kids; Plunder has returned once again, via a new variant called Blood Money.
As the only mode that wasn’t strictly a battle royale, Plunder gained a loving following among fans who enjoyed mixing it up every now and again. Unfortunately for those fans, the mode was another victim of ‘s approach cyclical content when the Season 4 update dropped earlier this month.
It’s common for modes to cycle in and out of the battle royale, but there was a particularly noticeable outcry when Plunder was dropped for the 50v50 Rumble mode. Fans have also pointed out that Plunder is one of the best modes for trying to get into the bunkers without being killed, so I can see why folk are into it.
Always one to give the fans what they want (eventually), Infinity Ward announced last night that Blood Money would return. The update, which is live now, also moves BR Solos to its own sub menu, and removes Scrapyard from Hardcore Playlists. Hopefully that’s enough to keep y’all happy for a while longer.
It’s been a busy week for Call Of Duty updates. A few days ago Infinity Ward dropped a string of new modes for , including One In The Chamber – a classic that we haven’t seen since the days of .
As the name implies, it’s an intense mode with limited ammo and one-shot kills. If you’ve never tried it out before, I thoroughly recommend logging into the game at your earliest convenience and giving it a shot… so to speak.
