Shaun Of The Dead Has Finally Landed On Netflix Australia
It’s been 15 years since landed in cinemas around the world.
But the people at Netflix have finally blessed us by uploading the funny zombie flick onto its streaming platform in Australia and New Zealand.
If you haven’t seen it before (if that’s the case then we feel sorry for you, but also excited because now you can stream it), the movie focuses on electronic salesman Shaun, who has no direction in his life.

The official synopsis says: “By morning, a zombie apocalypse has overwhelmed London. Shaun and Ed are slow to notice until they encounter two zombies in their garden, who they beat to death with a shovel and cricket bat.”
What follows is absolute hilarity and one of Simon Pegg (who plays Shaun) and Nick Frost’s (who plays Ed) best on-screen collaborations.
The two recently teamed up to film a coronavirus related PSA for people to stay home.
They recreated a famous and much-memed scene, which sees the characters share a phone call in which they discuss their ‘plan’ to conquer the zombies. The original plan involved holing up at The Winchester pub, having a nice cold pint and waiting for it all ‘to blow over’.
Now, the pair have revised ‘the plan’ for the coronavirus in accordance with the current guidance, advising people to go to the pub.
In the video, Pegg says: “Do not go to The Winchester, the pub is out.”
He continues: “If you can, stay at home, have a cup of tea, and wait for all this to blow over. Above all, don’t be a t**t about things. We’re all in this together, don’t be selfish, look after each other, give someone a call if you think they might be lonely.”
Frost then asks Pegg if he has any toilet paper, to which he replies ‘sorry mate, I’m down to my last sheet’, before the camera pans out to reveal a multi-pack on his table.
The closing credits read: “DON’T PANIC! We can beat the apocalypse… together. Love from Simon and Nick.”
