'COD: Modern Warfare' Players Convinced Of Weird 'Tiger King' Connection
Have you seen yet? There can’t be that many people left on the planet that haven’t at this point. The mindbogglingly strange documentary was released in a perfect storm of social media hype and global lockdowns. What else could those of us self-isolating do, but indulge in the thrilling and often terrifying story of Joe Exotic and his cohorts?
It was, by some distance, one of the weirdest viewing experiences I’ve ever had in my life. By the end of the seventh and final episode, I was a changed man. And by that I mean I needed to lie down and forget about the reprehensible cast of characters that I just spent the better part of a weekend following.

Unfortunately, given ‘s massive status as The Show Of The Moment, I knew it was only a matter of time before I’d have to write about it. Even as a lowly gaming journalist. Sure enough, the world of Joe Exotic has reached the Call Of Duty community. Terrific.
‘s third season of content kicked off last week, bringing with it a ton of new content. There are new maps, modes, and even a handful of playable Operators to try out. Among them is one character who we all assumed died in the game’s single-player campaign, but apparently he’s not the most interesting new addition.
No, a number of fans within the Call Of Duty community are altogether more fixated on one of the new skins for Operator Yegor. With his shaved head, collection of torso tattoos, and predilection for being topless, many have likened him to Joe Exotic’s ex-husband John Finlay. I can definitely see it, although I personally think Yegor looks a lot more like Vladmir Putin than anyone else.
So is this Yegor skin supposed to be an Easter egg that references Finlay? No, I don’t think so. It’s just a topless white dude with a shaved head. It could just as easily be the bloke down my local pub that only drinks John Smith’s and bangs on about the golden age of ska music.
Still, it’s nice to know that has left such an indelible mark on the world of entertainment that people are starting to see it everywhere they go. I only hope that we do eventually get a Joe Exotic skin for , because that would be off the chain.
