Microsoft Officially Unveil Cool 'Cyberpunk 2077' Xbox One X Bundle

While we’re all patiently waiting for the release of CD Projekt Red’s on September 17, if you happen to be looking to replace your old Xbox or upgrade to a One X in preparation, this announcement may be just what you’re looking for. Microsoft has officially revealed a limited edition Xbox One X console bundle and it’s due to be released in June.

You can check out the console in the video below (go here for a direct link). Now, I’ll be honest, I barely play my Xbox these days but if I had the cash to spare, I’d be seriously tempted by one of these. It looks so, so good and has various unique touches such as the glow-in-the-dark writing on the side and various custom panels. Even if you have no desire to play the game, you have to admit this console is spot on.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the leak from Amazon Canada last week, which showed off a -themed Xbox One controller – and yes, it’s the same as the one you see in the video above. At the time there was no price associated with it but had a release date of May 4. The listing now appears to have been removed completely.

Forking out for a new Xbox so close to the release of the next-gen consoles is a legitimate concern. But as far as the actual game goes, CD Projekt Red is making sure you won’t have to pick up the game twice when you upgrade to an Xbox Series X. In a tweet back in February, it promised that owners of on Xbox One would receive the Series X upgrade for free once it’s available.

Of course, this limited edition Xbox One X isn’t the only custom hardware related to that’s been released. CD Projekt Red teamed up with Nvidia back in February to produce a limited number of GeForce graphics cards. Only 200 were made and, as a consequence, they were shifting for insane amounts of money online, shortly after.

There’s no specific release date for the Cyberpunk 2077 console bundle right now, though we do know it’s coming in June. Cyberpunk 2077, meanwhile, is set for release on September 17.

EA’s New ‘Rocket Arena’ Is More Than Another Battle Royale

BY THEREDNOW STAFF Y’know when games get revealed and they don’t really do it for you, at the first time of asking? I definitely got the impression that, after its spot on this year’s EA Play presentation, that has firmly fallen into that category. What was shown off covered some key bases: this is a […]
