It’s been a couple of months since we’ve heard anything about the (incredibly) long-awaited Uncharted movie which was first announced back in 2008. Of course, this is hardly surprising due to the current global situation but at least this news can go some way to reassure us that it is still very much happening.
What we know right now is that the Uncharted movie will be directed by Ruben Fleischer (and The cast includes Tom Holland as a younger Nathan Drake, Mark Wahlberg as Victor “Sully” Sullivan, and Antonio Banderas also has a role but it’s not yet clear who he will play.

Holland also recently stated how much he likes the script for the Uncharted movie in an interview with IGN. “I think what offers that most video games films don’t is that it’s an origin story to the games. But I’m super excited to make that movie and it’s been a long time coming.”
This is also something that Holland touches on during the Kimmel interview above when he discusses both and .
“Both movies are being made and they’re both really strong and the scripts are fantastic so whatever happens, happens but I’m ready to play both. So, ready to go.”
