BY THEREDNOW STAFF

Ubisoft is still doing its part with weekly cost-free games and also tests also.

Finally, and rather unbelievably, GOG is also giving away a large selection of 27 timeless COMPUTER games for absolutely nothing, so do take a look and see if anything takes yer fancy. If you desire to read up on timeless Flash video games, open world legendaries, story-driven video games, relaxing video games, or even video games to play with your youngsters, we’ve obtained you even more than covered.

If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of players who’ve been getting involved with recently, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a free dose of Modern Warfare multiplayer available via the battle royale all weekend. From 6pm tonight (Friday, April 24th) until Monday at 6pm, you’ll be able to access 6v6 and 10v10 matches across five maps from .

The only catch is that you’ll need to have downloaded and install in order to take advantage of this, but the battle royale is of course entirely free. Speaking of free battle royales, I’ll once again draw your attention to the likes of and . It’s not as if you aren’t aware they exist, but now is as good a time as any to try one of these games out, right?

Intense shooters not really your cup of tea? That’s fine. PC owners can currently get their mitts on the excellent strategy RPG via the Epic Games Store. Granted, Epic usually offers two freebies per week, but you’ll have to settle with the one adventure this time around. Still, it’s a great game worth checking out.

Ubisoft is still doing its part with weekly free games and trials too. You can take a look at everything the company has on offer here, but the new additions are a free week of and a trial version of . Both are a commentary on the fragile nature of capitalism in their own way. At least I like to think so.

Over on PS4, you’ve still got bags of time to download and keep and as part of Sony’s Play At Home initiative. That’s three stunning remasters of some of the best PS3-era adventure games, and one of the best indie titles to date. All for the low price of nothing.

Oh, I should also quickly mention Xbox Game Pass. Yes, it’s a subscription based service, but for a monthly fee you’ve access to a massive range of modern AAA titles, past hits, and indie classics. PS Now also offers a similar kind of deal, but Game Pass gets a special shout out this week on account of Rockstar’s sublime making its way to the service next month.

Finally, and somewhat unbelievably, GOG is also giving away a massive selection of 27 classic PC games for absolutely nothing, so do take a look and see if anything takes yer fancy. Some absolute belters in there.
