'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare' Season 4 Details Uncovered By Dataminers

BY THEREDNOW STAFF

As Season 4 of and approaches, fans have started to wonder what new content and other changes could be making their way into the games. Developer Infinity Ward tends to add a steady stream of maps, modes, and weapons each season, with weapons typically being available via in-game challenges or the Battle Pass.

So far Infinity Ward hasn’t said much in regards to the weapons we’ll be getting in when Season 4 lands. However, it looks like a few of the guns have now leaked online, courtesy of Reddit user JeaneJWE and prolific Call Of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution.

Based on what looks like in-game images obtained via datamining, Season 4 of will launch with the Galil and the Vector SMG. If, like me, you’re not entirely familiar with the world of guns, the Galil looks to be some kind of automatic rifle. The Vector SMG, as the name implies, is a submachine gun. It also looks like the HK G28 – a sniper rifle – will be added some time after Season 4 launches.

While we should take these leaks with a pinch of salt, it is worth noting that the Vector SMG previously surfaced in a leak back in November alongside the crossbow weapon. The crossbow, of course, appeared in not long after this… before going on to be used by approximately zero players.

There’s also some evidence that both the APC9 and the XM109 could both be coming to the game at some point in the future, but nothing to suggest they’ll make it in as part of Season 4. If this leak is to be believed – and TGR tends to be on the money – we shouldn’t have long to wait. Season 4 of and is widely expected to land in early June, so we shouldn’t have long to wait.

In other Season 4 news, players believe that the start of the new season will finally unveil the mystery of the locked bunkers in the battle royale mode. Players are increasingly starting to hear howling wolves across various parts of the map, which is definitely more than a little odd. The locations the wolves have been heard account for three of the map’s four corners, and all near one of the many mysterious locked bunkers dotted around Verdansk.
