The Best Premier League TV Deals As The Season Returns This Month
BY THEREDNOW STAFF
You may have spent hours playing FIFA or Football Manager during lockdown, but now it’s time to get back to the real action – with the Premier League returning on 17th June. With all 92 remaining fixtures set to be squeezed in over the next month or so, the appeal of watching at home has never been greater.
And because all games are being played behind closed doors, you don’t really have much choice…
The good news is that all the games will be broadcast live, with 33 of the 92 matches FREE to watch. We’ve unpacked some of the best TV sport deals around if you’re planning a Premier League binge between now and the end of a very strange season.
Here’s where you can expect to see the drama unfold before the season finishes on 26th July.
Sky Sports – Join Today for £18 per Month
Sky Sports is set to show 64 of the remaining 92 fixtures. The added good news – 25 of the games will be free-to-air and shown via their Freeview channel, Pick. These can also be viewed on Now TV with their Sky Sports Pass. This includes the Merseyside derby on 21st June. Unbelievable, Jeff!
Amazon Prime Video – Enjoy a 30-Day FREE Trial
Thanks to Amazon Prime’s Video service, the retail giant is delivering the goods for football fans, with four free games to enjoy via live streams. The first of those will be Crystal Palace v Burnley on Monday 29th June. You won’t need to be a Prime member to watch these four games, which is a nice touch.
But, you can grab yourself a 30-day free trial with this link to watch original content and blockbuster movies, plus FREE next-day delivery on thousands of everyday items. Then it’s only £7.99 a month when the trial ends.
BT Sport – Join Today for Half Price (Includes Now TV Sky Sports Pass)
Fellow heavyweight broadcaster, BT Sport, will be showing 20 live games in glorious high definition. If you’re looking for games to pick out and watch live on BT, Chelsea and Manchester City will go head-to-head on Thursday 25th June at 8:15pm.
It doesn’t look like BT will be showing any of their fixtures for free, but you can get BT Sport, including the Now TV Sky Sports Pass, for £20 instead of £40, for a 24-month contract, plus £9.99 for delivery of the kit.
BBC Sport – Live Fixtures
The return of football means the full return of Match of the Day as AFC Bournemouth take on Crystal Palace live on the BBC. The game kicks off at 7:45pm on Saturday 20th June and will be the first Premier League game broadcast by BBC Sport since the Premier League started in 1992. The only thing missing will be Motty’s sheepskin.
