Guy Shares Exactly How To Make Amazing Water Feature Using Empty Beer Bottles

BY THEREDNOW STAFF

A guy has revealed exactly how to make a beer-themed water feature at home and people are absolutely loving it:

Danny Walters, from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, was inundated with requests from people impressed with his Corona creation.

So much so that he made a how-to video, where he gave people the tricks of his lockdown trade.

Posting the video on Facebooks DIY On A Budget UK group, Danny said: “A few people asked if I could put together a how-to guide so here it is.

“Hope you find it helpful and if anyone does give it a go would love to see the results!”

Youll need a Corona beer bucket, four bottles (two unopened), gold lights and fake ice, along with a tube and a selection of tools (dont worry, this is all explained in the video).

The tricky bit is completed right away, with Danny drilling a hole into the base of the bucket as well as the glass bottle. He also wraps the bottle in a towel in case it smashes – not his first rodeo, clearly.

He then feeds a tube through the holes, followed by the gold lights. After adding some bricks to the bottom of the bucket in a bid to raise the bottles, he then adds two unopened bottles and fake ice into the fountain.

The final job is to connect the tube to the water and switch it on so that the water pours through the two empty bottles. As Danny explained: “You will need to adjust the pressure to stop it spraying and get the desired pressure.”

Hes also made G&T can versions with pink lighting, so theres no reason why you cant make one with your tipple of choice. The varieties could be endless.

If you need more inspiration, it might be time to build a bar to show off your new water fountain. Paul Nowak managed to assemble a load of pallets to create his own pub – all for just £90 ($112).

Paul told Therednow: “It took me a couple of days after I got all the stuff I needed to knock it together. Ive always liked woodwork, I should have done it when I left school but I never did.

“Id put down some decking in the garden and Ive always wanted a bar in the garden so I got some pallets and knocked it together.”
