Dad Recreates Iconic Only Fools And Horses Scene With Daughter
Quarantine can be a boring time so you’ve got to work with what you can. For many that has meant delving into the magical world of TikTok, just like Tony Carr and his daughter have done:
Tony, 36, and his daughter Molly, 10, decided to recreate the infamous scene from where, on a quest to impress two women, Del Boy falls through the hatch of a bar.
The original clip, starring Del Boy (David Jason) and Trigger (Roger Lloyd-Pack), shows the pair donning their suits down in The Nag’s Head.
Tony and Molly swapped the local boozer for their kitchen breakfast bar and got to work on recreating the scene. It’s fair to say, they didn’t disappoint.

Speaking to Therednow, Tony, who runs creative agency Ynot, said: “We have been doing a few videos to try to make people laugh and raise spirits amongst friends and family.
“I have been introducing her [Molly] to comedy during lockdown and she loves . We thought the falling through bar sketch is probably the best sketch of all time and great to give people a much needed laugh.

But this wasn’t a one shot job, in fact it took the duo five tries to get it perfect.
Tony went on: “It took us five attempts mainly because the first three I couldn’t resist looking where I was going when I fell.
“Fourth attempt I didn’t look but landed on the dog and I had to persuade them to let me do a fifth so had to nail it.
“The response has been better than we imagined people are loving Molly’s straight-faced, dead pan comedy and the dog’s concern at the end.”

Responding to the video, one person wrote: “Just won TikTok with this. Outstanding mate,” another added: “Absolutely brilliant. Love Miss Molly’s acting debut”.
Someone else put it on a pedestal with the original, saying: “Eeeeee Tony I remember watching this at the time and never laughed so much, yours is up there too.”
