She was on vacation in Fuerteventura when she saw a number of naked individuals making the many of the great weather condition on the beach.
Opening up regarding her journey with naturism, Juliette stated: “It took me a couple of years to have the self-confidence however now I’m flawlessly comfy going for forest walks and also walking nude in quiet areas.
Juliette told the Daily Record: “If you’ve got a garden, enjoy it. Sunbathe, garden, play games, it’s all much more fun when you’re naked.”
Juliette says she accidentally got into naturism but now loves it, it’s even how she met her husband Ivan.
She was on holiday in Fuerteventura when she saw a number of naked people making the most of the nice weather on the beach.
“Attitudes to naturism in Fuerteventura are quite tolerant,” she explained. “There aren’t really any signs, I just saw people really relaxed and enjoying being naked. I thought, that looks good fun. And ended up giving it a try myself.”
The next day, she went back to the beach and stripped off – and says she found the whole thing ‘liberating’ and ‘relaxed’.
While sunbathing she spotted a man who had been staying at the same hotel as her and when she bumped into him again a couple of days later, he introduced himself as Ivan and told her a little bit more about naturism.
When the holiday was over, Juliette went back to Glasgow and Ivan returned to Norfolk, but the pair felt a connection and Juliette began to spend time in Norfolk where their relationship grew.
The couple have since got married and now live in a naturist-friendly bungalow with a large back garden that isn’t overlooked by any other houses.
Opening up about her journey with naturism, Juliette said: “It took me a few years to have the confidence but now I’m perfectly comfortable going for forest walks and walking naked in quiet areas. The neighbours know and don’t care. If they happen to spot us in our gardens, they couldn’t care less. We are lucky.”
She added: “It’s not about being sexual, it’s about being comfortable and liberated about your body.”
