Raven-Symoné, star of the Disney Channel’s , has tied the knot with girlfriend Miranda Maday.

The 34-year-old newlywed, whose full name is Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, shared a photo of herself and her bride to her two million followers, writing: “I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home.

“I love you Mrs Pearman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new a**hole!”

In a follow-up post she thanked fans for their ‘outpouring of love and congratulations’ and shared a few more photos of their big day.

Judging by the snaps Raven shared, it looks as though they had a pretty small, laid back ceremony, with her wearing black and her new wife in white. She tagged a small number of guests could be seen, most of whom wore masks.

Earlier, Raven had hinted that she had some good news to share – posting a photo of a glass of champagne alongside the caption: “So something happened this week, that has changed my life FOR THE BETTER!”

Raven commented on the legalisation of same-sex marriage back in 2013, saying: “I was excited to hear today that more states legalised gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.”

But has revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she shuns the ‘gay’ label, explaining: “I don’t want to be labelled gay… I want to be labelled a human who loves humans.”

The Disney star appeared in from 2003 to 2007 – she reprised the role in 2017 for spin-off which centred on a grown-up Raven, now divorced and the mother of twins.
